SUMMARY:CHJC's 2023 Annual Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Planning is underway for the Children’s Home of Jefferson County’s (CHJC) Annual Golf Tournament! This year’s tournament is scheduled for Monday\, August 14\, 2023\, at Highland Meadows Golf Club. Last year’s committed sponsors helped raise more than $50\,000 to fund CHJC’s SoZo Teen Center\, which operates exclusively on donor funds. \nAs CHJC’s only annual major fundraiser\, your support allows us to extend our mission and continually adapt and diversify to meet our community’s ever-changing needs. Sponsorship partnerships remain vital to the success of continuing CHJC’s mission of “Creating opportunities to enhance lives\, one relationship at a time.” More than 3\,000 children and adults will be served this year by our nearly 20 quality programs focused on strengthening families. \nYour sponsorship is a prudent investment in publicizing your organization\, as well as its unique services. Benefits from your support include publicity\, high-profile visibility\, signage\, and recognition on our website and social media outlets. We hope we can secure your sponsorship commitment and collect payment in the spring. \nShould you have any questions or need any additional information\, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly at 315-788-7430. We hope we can count on your support! \nClick here to sign-up\, or to learn about our sponsorship opportunities!   https://form.jotform.com/221326125410137 (opens in a new tab)

Foster Parent/Kinship training classes will begin virtually via Zoom on January 11\, 2023\, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm\, and continue for nine weeks thereafter. \nThe CHJC Therapeutic Foster Care Program provides temporary care for children unable to live with their birth families or guardians. The Foster Care Program allows children who may have been abused or neglected and/or have behavioral challenges and special needs\, the opportunity to live in a family setting\, attend public school and be an active member of the community. To provide support for the needs of the entire family\, in addition to 24-hour on-call services and crisis response\, extensive training is offered to all Foster Parents/Kinship Caregivers. Foster Parents/Kinship Caregivers work as members of a treatment team alongside families\, social workers\, and other professionals to help prepare a child to return to his/her birth family. Positive adult alliances\, communication\, and teamwork are critical to the healthy development of children and their long-term success. Through direct guidance and support\, you as a Foster Parent or Kinship Caregiver will act as a role model and mentor toward the family reunification process. \nFor more information about the informational or training sessions\, or on opening your home and heart to these deserving children\, please contact Karli Kukula\, Recruitment and Training Specialist\, at (315) 955-9861 or e-mail: kkukula@chjc.org. \nJoin Zoom Meeting\nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/87816023457?pwd=eUdlQUFCYjMwTEJ3VStmN1M3bGxvZz09\nMeeting ID: 878 1602 3457\nPasscode: 49vf9j\nOne tap mobile\n+19294362866\,\,87816023457#\,\,\,\,*486571# US (New York)\n+16469313860\,\,87816023457#\,\,\,\,*486571# US
